The aim of this project is to digitally expand the memory of a dyslexic pupils and, in order to reach this objective, the project aims at developing a software that enables transfer of text and other study materials from the classroom to the pupils smart device. This will enable the pupil to maintain self-esteem and comparable capability in writing notes or remembering lessons as written by teacher on whiteboard.

The Research on Current Innovation Report summarises the findings from inventorying the current situation on what software and hardware is available for helping pupils with dyslexia and other learning disabilities, and innovative projects aiming to introduce new tools to help such challenges. Summary of Needs Analysis Report - English

This document is a public summary of the internal Needs Analysis Report. The Needs Analysis was conducted in the period January to March 2014 in the Czech Republic, Germany, Greece, Italy, Malta, Sweden, and Turkey with a total of 2,356 participants (1,392 teachers and 964 parents). It aims to provide a comprehensive overview on the needs of all involved target groups in the field of ICT support for pupils with Dyslexia at school, laying the basis for further project work through a set of technical and didactical recommendations.

Early Detection of Symptoms of Dyslexia

This deliverable outlines the current situation on early detection of symptoms of dyslexia with main focus being on the partners’ countries. This includes a detailed description of what happens in Malta, Italy, Greece, Czech Republic, Turkey, Germany and Sweden. Highlighting also the different screening strategies deployed, actions undertaken after screening and diagnosis and the technology being used in European countries.

The partners took the opportunity to take this report slightly further by also comparing what is happening in other continents including Australia and the United States.
